A guardian home provides a permanent home and family for a puppy while we retain breeding rights for a specified period. This arrangement allows you to have a quality puppy without the high upfront cost of purchasing one. After the breeding contract is completed, the dog will be completely yours. For female dogs, this typically lasts 3-5 years, during which they will have one litter each year starting at age 2. However, this timeline may change depending on the individual dog's health, as that is our top priority. All of our breeding dogs are health-tested and cleared of any genetic disorders or diseases. Please note that there may be a brief period during the breeding process when you will be temporarily separated from the dog.
Your financial commitment to your breeding dog includes the typical day-to-day expenses and veterinary care associated with basic dog ownership (excluding any veterinary procedures related to breeding). These expenses include but are not limited to food, training, grooming, boarding or daycare, walking, and routine vet visits. Additionally, all guardian homes must be located within two hours of our location.
